We will start the first day discovering the natural border between Catalonia and Aragon, the Montrebei Gorge, located in one of the most beautiful sections of the Noguera Ribagorçana River.
We will cross the river from inside by kayak and seeing its impressive vertical walls, we will be able to appreciate its great biodiversity in all senses.
We will also take advantage of the day to walk along the paths on the very walls that provide us with another point of view and another way of seeing the landscape from which we will have already discovered.
Night: Ager Hostel
Day 2: Montrebei, via ferrata / mountain bike
For the more adventurous, we propose a via ferrata, as the Montrebei Gorge is a classic site for via ferrata. Both newcomers and experts will be able to enjoy it. For those who have vertigo, they will have the possibility of doing an electric mountain bike tour.
In the afternoon, after lunch we will go to Sort, where we will spend the night to recover our strength and enjoy the next day of adventure that awaits us.
Night: Rialp Hostel
Day 3: Sort, canyoning
Sort, is a region of the Pallars Sobirà , we will change river, to the Noguera Pallaresa, and zone, we will enter the pre-Pyrenees and Catalan Pyrenees.
In this area there is a great variety of canyons for all levels, undoubtedly an ideal place to practice this highly valued sport.
Night: Rialp Hostel
Day 4: Sort, rafting
In the area of Rialp, the neighbouring village of Sort, we will experience the adrenaline in its purest form by rafting down the river’s rapids.
In the afternoon, we will go to the Cadi-Moixeró Natural Park, where one of the most historic and emblematic mountains in Catalonia is located, the Pedraforca. Considered one of the symbols of Catalan hiking, it has a very peculiar shape due to its two peaks separated by a large hill.
Night: Pedraforca Refuge
Day 5: Pedraforca, Trekking
Depending on the level we have, we can make the ascent to the peak or a circular route to the mountain this day. In both cases they are routes of great scenic beauty that will not leave us indifferent.
After the trek we will move on to the Garrotxa area, a volcanic area of Catalonia, which is home to an immense natural park with a large number of extinct volcanic cones.
Night: Zona Garrotxa
Day 6: La Garrotxa, Trekking
Between paths, gorges and pools… hiking in this area is unique both in spring-summer stopping at its pools to cool down and in autumn-winter walking through the Hayedo d’en Jordà . A day of walking with fantastic views in the middle of nature.
In the afternoon we will go to the Costa Brava, Platja d’Aro.
Night: Hotel Platja d’Aro
Day 7: Costa Brava, hike and sea kayak
As we approach the end of our journey, already in the heart of the Costa Brava, between crystalline waters and rocky cliffs, we will enjoy a light walk along a piece of the famous Camino de Ronda, ending at the beach of Sant Pol de S’Agaró where we will enter caves, snorkel and jump from the cliffs that invite us so much to adventure.
We will take advantage of these last moments of this intense journey before returning to the starting point.
