Description
Without going too far from Barcelona we can make a unique excursion on foot through the natural space of the Bertí mountains following the cliffs that snake along the gorges of the Tenes riverbed.
This walk offers us an unconventional view of the place, not very touristy and very surprising, whose fauna and flora deserve special attention because of their variety and beauty. Along the route we can see the presence of wild boars, eagles, hawks and owls, as well as reptiles that populate the riverbanks.
Itinerary
Our walk will start in the town of Riells del Fai and we will follow the course of the river Tenes until we reach the magnificent Bauma Rosa with its waterfall, which will leave us speechless. The route will be linear, about 5.5 km, with a positive height difference of 80m, classified as a route suitable for all levels and ages, as long as you have a minimum walking habit.
If the excursion is made in summer, we can enjoy a refreshing swim in the various natural pools that the enclave offers.
At the end of the walk, we will take a stroll through the village and have a refreshing drink in one of the charming bars before returning to Barcelona.
